Store Room Technician

Job Description

The Store room technician is responsible handling and administrating spare parts stock. This includes receiving goods from suppliers, storing goods in the warehouse, issuing goods to Technicians, performing regular stock counts and ensure administration is properly done.

RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Receiving spare parts from suppliers
  • Escalate to suppliers in case of late delivery
  • Labeling spare parts and store them into the warehouse in an orderly and structured way
  • Prepare goods issue of spare parts to preventive maintenance orders based on MRL list provided by Maintenance planner.
  • Issue spare parts to Technicians for Corrective Maintenance orders.
  • Handle the return of unused spare parts
  • Monitor & advice on minimum stock levels that are used as re-ordering point.
  • Monitor & replenish pre-expended stock on shopfloor
  • Ensure all goods flows in the spare parts warehouse are properly captured and administered in SAP
  • Perform regular stock counts to check stock accuracy in SAP.

Qualifications

Here's what we're looking for: 

  • Academic Program: SKM or SPM, or related field preferred (or related field). 
  • Experienced: At least 2 years in professional experience, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Skillset:
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Canva); experience with systems (e.g., SAP, ERP) is a plus.
  • Service-oriented, discreet with sensitive information, and proactive in problem-solving
  • Personal traits: You have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.
