Job Description

  1. Lead the Annual Operating Plan process, manage the timeline and deliverables for Global reporting.
  2. Lead Operations Closing & reporting, stabilize and support the leadership teams on cost analysis and management conclusions.
  3. Lead MMR reporting for Malaysia, support the collection of Key Performance Indicators and Financials, supporting fact-based business decision making.
  4. Lead financially value creation business opportunities, including yield and capacity investment decisions for Malaysia Operations. Initiate and stimulate cost productivity projects as well as cash improvement initiatives.
  5. Lead CAPEX / MIC processes for Malaysia, ensuring transparent CER requests and follow up of spending. Overlook the fixed asset value and depreciation for the Malaysian factories.
  6. Support all financial process and systems design (SAP/Other) related to CBM set up in Malaysia, ensuring JDE Operations standard approaches are rolled out,
  7. Support controls related processes and ensure alignment with global and regional policies and operations governance rules (Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain)
  8. Support the delivery of OWC objectives for Malaysia (inventory optimization, payment terms supplier, supplier financing)
  9. Be actively involved in projects assigned by Asia Operations Finance Controller, related but not limited to standardization, integration, footprint or other specific Operations projects

Qualifications

  1. University Degree 
  2. At least 5 years working experience with relevant manufacturing controlling background.
  3. Knowledge of IFRS
  4. Knowledge on compliance.
  5. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  6. Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills with ability to network with key decision makers in English and Malaysian language.
  7. Proactive in presenting results to business management; good team worker (plant, supply chain, procurement)
  8. Strong personality to discuss issues with business management
  9. Ability and willingness to make timely decisions and recommendations
  10. Knowledge of SAP BPC preferred
  11. Preferably work experience in FMCG environment
  12. Knowledge on statutory reporting and regulations requirement
