Job Description

The SAP Operator ensures accurate and timely execution of all SAP transactions to support mixing and packing operations. The role is accountable for maintaining data integrity in SAP related to production orders, material movements, and inventory, contributing directly to the achievement of plant KPIs in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Engagement.

Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)

  • Follow all plant safety procedures and policies when performing SAP-related tasks.
  • Escalate any unsafe conditions observed in relation to materials handling, documentation, or system-related activities.
  • Participate in safety discussions and contribute to maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.

2. Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure SAP transactions comply with internal controls, audit standards, and quality policies.
  • Record quality-related checks and production confirmations in SAP as per plant procedures.
  • Escalate any SAP or process issues that could lead to quality risks or data inaccuracies.
  • Maintain accurate records to support traceability and compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.

3. Delivery & Cost (SAP Operations)

  • Perform SAP transactions for production order release, confirmation, and closure.
  • Post material consumption, goods issue, and goods receipt for mixing and packing activities.
  • Monitor and reconcile inventory in SAP against physical counts (WIP, raw materials, packaging, finished goods).
  • Generate and analyze SAP reports on production output, variances, and stock accuracy.
  • Escalate system or transactional issues promptly to ensure no impact on production flow.

4. Engagement & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, and Quality teams to ensure accurate and timely SAP postings.
  • Support shift handovers with updated system data and transaction status.
  • Participate in operations meetings to provide system-related updates and reports.
  • Suggest improvements to SAP processes and contribute to enhancing system efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Academic Program: Preference for candidates with a further SPM / Diploma.
  • Experienced: At least 2 years working experience in relevant experience.
  • Skillset
  • Having basic knowledge to use computer.
  • Knowledge in SAP is advantages.
  • Personal traits: You have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.
